- We enroll children between the ages of 3
years and 4 years 2 months old. Your child must turn 3
by September and must be toilet trained or be no older than 4.2 in September.
Once your child is enrolled she/he may attend the school through kindergarten.
We do not enroll after age 4.2 because we feel the child cannot receive
the full benefit of our program if they come in at an older age. We
do not make exceptions to the enrollment ages for new families.
- We do enrollment only one year ahead of time.
- Please contact us one year before you would like
your child to be enrolled.
- In order to receive an application to be put
on the waiting list for enrollment for the following
school year, we require you to schedule an observation at the school.
- The purpose of the observation is for you to
see the facility, meet the staff and view the children in our Montessori
program. All Montessori schools are different and we would like you
to view as many as possible.
- If you are interested in enrollment after the
observation, you will be given a waiting list application.
- Once you return the application along with the
$25.00 fee your child will be put on the waiting list.
- The waiting list is first come first serve. The
higher your child is on the list the better the chances for enrollment.
- We give siblings first priority on the waiting
list. Siblings may enter school at 2 years 8 months if they are toilet
trained and ready for school.
- We confirm enrollment in April. You will receive
a call as well as a letter informing you if your child has been accepted
to start school in September.
- Scheduling an observation:
- We begin making appointments for observations
on the third Monday in September beginning at 9:00am sharp.
- Please do not call earlier. We will only make
appointments by telephone, please do not come to the
school.
- Appointments for observations usually fill up
in one day, so we advise you to begin calling at 9:00 am.
- Only one family at a time attends the observation
which begins at 9:00 am and lasts as long as you like.
- Observations are scheduled from October through
December or January.
